What is Pink?

What is pink? Pink is a piglet playing and running in a pen.

What is red? Red is a comb up upon a clucking hen.

What is blue? Blue is the massive waves splashing down on the sand.

What is white? White is the freezing snow covering the Arctic land.

What is yellow? Yellow is the sun beating down to the ground.

What is green? Green is a sunny field in which to run around and make a yippee! sound.

What is violet? Violet is the gentle lavender flowering in bloom.

What is orange? Orange is a sunset just before the rising moon.

This was written by my little brother.
    He’s 9.
    I like it.

Paddy suggested that the last line should read
“What is Orange? The future is Orange”

    :]

I love the part about the yippee! sound…that made me giggle.

This poem probably made my day, just so you know.

    So very lyrical.

I like the line about green.

Also, I like that the colors are NOT in the order of the rainbow.
