There there, my love

If I ask nothing else of you,
only be there,
when the nighttime terrors
come a-knocking,
to hold my head in your hands,
to run fingers through my hair,
and tell me everything
will be alright.

How do these ladies stand a chance against you? ….
    I love this.

    You’d be surprised…

I love this. I used to get them all the time when I was younger. No experience is more petrifying.

I used to get them a lot more, especially during the summer
when my room was too hot
    and the days were boring
    and I couldn’t sleep.
    I find that having someone,
    anyone there
makes them go away a lot faster.
